My time at 6th High School of Chalkida involved helping facilitate programs with English learners as part of the U.S. Embassy's ACCESS program.
In February we shared some information about Black History Month and did some activities together. Then my Distinguished Award in Teaching colleague, Rochelle Darville, organized an interesting and engaging women's history month program that I helped facilitate. The students are from a variety of immigrant and refugee backgrounds. They are committed and engaged learners.
